The BCCI has officially announced the final India ODI and T20 Squad which will be competing against England. Virat Kohli has replaced MS Dhoni as expected after Dhoni’s resignation from the ODI and T20 Captaincy. The wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant makes an entry into the T20 squad for his bursting batting in the ongoing Ranji season. Rishabh Pant, who freshly made history by scoring the fastest century in Ranji Trophy, has received a place in the T20 side besides Suresh Raina, who had unfortunately dropped the series against New Zealand due to flu.
Virat Kohli decided to bring the old warhorse Yuvraj Singh back into the game and has been selected for the both ODI and T20 team. Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami will not be participating in the tournament due to injury while Mandeep Singh, Jayant Yadav, Axar Patel and Dhawal Kulkarni are not picked in the squad.
