IPL Auction 2017 was held on 20th February 2017 where players are bought by the franchise teams which takes part in the IPL tournament. Indian premier league is the most popular Twenty20 tournament in India.

IPL 201 Auction witnessed breathtaking and expensive bids with some surprising moments. Where some unknown or less popular players were bought at high prices by the teams. Also, some of the reputed players were not bought by any of the teams.

Here are the top 10 Highest Paid players in IPL Auction 2017 auctions.

1. England all-rounder Benjamin Stokes is bought by Rising Pune Supergiants in 14.5 Crore and he is the most expensive foreign player in the IPL history.

2. Tymal Mills another England cricketer who is the second most expensive player in the 2017 IPL Auctions.

3. New Zealand’s Trent Boult is a reputed bowler who was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for 5 Crore.

4. Kagiso Rabada who is a South African international cricketer and is a fast bowler and plays domestic cricket for the Highveld Lions. He is bought by Delhi Daredevils for 5 crores.

5. Australian cricketer Patrick Cummins who is a fast bowler and plays domestic cricket for New South Wales. Delhi Daredevils bought him for 4.5 Crore.

6. Another cricketer from England Chris Woakes who is an all-Rounder and is bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for 4.20 Crore.

7. Rashid Khan a cricketer from Afganistan who is a bowler was bought by the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad for 4 Crore.

8. Nathan Coulter-Nile an Australian cricketer who is a bowler was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for 3.5 Crore.

9. Karn Sharma who is an all-rounder from Indian cricket team. He was bought by Mumbai Indians for 3.2 Crore.

10. An Indian cricketer Thangarasu Natarajan who is a bowler was bought by Kings XI Punjab for 3 Crore.
