After the suspensions of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals in the previous season, a new team Rising Pune Supergiants was introduced. Rising Pune Supergiants is a replacement of Pune which was bought by Sanjiv Goenka. RPSG Rising Pune Supergiants 2017 squad & Players Lsit - IPL 2017

MS Dhoni will lead the team in the tournament and Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium is designated as the home ground. Stephen Fleming will be coaching the official team in the tournament while Eric Simons will coach the team for bowling.

Due to the poor performance in the last IPL, the selection committee has done major changes in the main team. The officials have replaced most of the players including Peter Handscomb, Ishant Sharma, Irfan Pathan, Thisara Perera. Rudra Pratap Singh, Scott Boland, M. Ashwin, Kevin Pietersen, Saurabh Tiwary, Albie Morkel and George Bailey.

IPL Auction 2017 is being Scheduled on Monday, 20 February 2017. Pune will be definitely focusing on picking up quality bowlers due to previous seasons performance. Pune bought Mahinder Singh Dhoni as their first player at the price of Rs. 12.5 crores.
