Karachi Kings makes a come back, Lahore Qalandars out of the league

Karachi Kings makes comeback in the Pakistan Super League by defeating Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad Warriors in the last two matches. It was a do or die situation for Karachi Kings when they were in the last position in the league.

But Karachi Kings manage to make an insane comeback and make their position in the Qualifying final round of the league. Know they are holding the third position in the league charts. Whereas Lahore Qalandars who played well in the starting of the league unable to make their way towards next round.

Karachi Kings makes comeback

The main reason for the Lahore Qalandar’s defeat is the last two matches in which the team’s performance was unacceptable.In the Second last match of the Lahore Qalandars against Peshawar Zalmi, they lost by 17 runs. Also, in their last match against Karachi Kings, they lost by 6 wickets. That is why Karachi Kings makes comeback in the Qualifying Finals of the league.

As Lahore Qalandars are out of the league, the first Qualifying Final will be played between the top two teams in the league Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators on Tuesday 28th February at Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium, Sharjah. While the second Qualifying Final will be played between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings.

While the second Qualifying Final will be played between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings on Wednesday 1st March at Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium, Sharjah. The third Qualifying Final will be played between the winner of the second Qualifying Final and Loser of the first Qualifying Final.

The final match of the tournament will be played on Sunday 5th March at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
